TagCraft Privacy Policy

TagCraft ("we", "us") is a browser extension that helps Etsy sellers generate listing content. This policy explains what data we handle and why. The short version: we process your listing drafts and product photos to generate your content, we keep logs for at most 30 days, and we never sell your data.

1. What we collect

• Listing draft content — the title, description, category, price, attributes and product images currently open in your Etsy listing editor. These are sent to our server only when you click "Generate".
• Product images — up to the first 5 images of the listing you're editing, compressed before leaving your browser.
• Device identifier — a random, anonymous token generated on your device, used to count your free-tier usage and link your subscription. It contains no personal information.
• Usage logs — timestamps and technical error reports, used to keep the service working.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Paddle.com, our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. We receive only your email address and subscription status.

2. What we do with it

• Your draft content and images are processed by AI language models (via third-party AI providers) to generate your listing title, tags, and description.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

3. Data retention

• Generated results and request logs are automatically deleted within 30 days.
• Anonymous device tokens are kept until you uninstall the extension and clear extension data, or request deletion.

4. Third-party services

• Paddle.com — payments and subscription management. Subject to Paddle's privacy policy.
• AI providers — process images and text to generate results. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and used only to fulfill your request.
• Cloudflare — hosts our API and this website.

5. Your rights

You can request deletion of any data associated with your device token or email by contacting us. Since we don't require accounts, uninstalling the extension stops all collection immediately.

6. Permissions used by the extension

• Access to etsy.com — to read and fill in the listing form you have open. The extension has no access to any other website.
• Local storage — to remember your settings and usage count on your own device.
